Features + Benefits
Automatic RF Optimization
Radio resource management (RRM) automates dynamic channel and power assignments, accounting for interference discovered by the AP’s dedicated sensor radio, and converts dual-band-capable radios between 2.4- and 6-GHz operation.
The Mist AI engine continuously monitors service-level expectation (SLE) metrics to optimize the RF environment.
Unprecedented Insight and Action
A dedicated tri-band third radio collects data for our patent-pending Proactive Analytics and Correlation Engine (PACE). The AP24 uses the machine learning-powered PACE to analyze user experiences, correlate network issues, and detect the root cause of problems.
IoT Efficiencies
By incorporating the 802.11ax target wake time (TWT) capability and Bluetooth 5.3, the access point extends the battery life of IoT devices as new IoT devices join the network. The AP also natively supports IoT electronic shelf label (ESL) tags.
Dynamic Packet Capture
The Juniper Mist platform automatically captures packets and streams them to the cloud when major issues are detected.
This capability eliminates the need for expensive, time-consuming truck rolls to reproduce and capture data for troubleshooting.
Cloud-Based Setup and Updates
The AP24 automatically connects to the Juniper Mist cloud, downloads its AP configuration, and joins the appropriate network.
Firmware updates download and install automatically, ensuring that the network is always up to date with new features, bug fixes, and security updates.
Premium Analytics
Juniper Mist Wi-Fi Assurance, User Engagement, and Asset Visibility services include a base analytics capability for analyzing up to 30 days of data.
They simplify the process of extracting network insights and running analytics across your enterprise to properly align your support resources and allow you to introduce enhanced premium services.
Product Sustainability
The AP24 uses recyclable materials in its packaging design.

AP24 Access PointFAQs
What is an access point?
An access point (AP) is a networking device that transmits and receives data over a Wi-Fi wireless LAN and interconnects Wi-Fi client devices to a wired network. The AP acts as a wireless communications hub, exchanging data among mobile devices, wirelessly handing off live sessions to other APs as users roam to maintain connectivity, and linking wireless users and client devices to wired network resources.
What are the benefits of Juniper’s access points?
Juniper Access Points work in conjunction with the Juniper Mist cloud and Mist AI engine to deliver premium wireless access capabilities, insights, and, ultimately, enhanced user experiences.
What is the virtual Bluetooth® LE (vBLE) technology in Juniper Access Points?
Juniper Mist’s patented vBLE builds on Bluetooth® Low Energy to simplify the deployment of indoor location-based services. vBLE-based services use virtual beacons instead of physical ones to more precisely and affordably locate devices containing BLE sensors. vBLE creates virtual beaconing with a patented 16-element directional antenna array, which sends unique RF energy in multiple directions. vBLE signals emanating from a vBLE-enabled Wi-Fi or Bluetooth access point eliminate the need for physically mounted, battery-powered BLE beacons throughout a site, cutting down on cost, installation, and replacement operations. Instead, location service applications use data gathered by the virtual beacons and our AI/ML engine to calculate mobile device locations with a very high degree of accuracy.
How many access points make up the Juniper portfolio?
There are currently 11, including our latest offering, the AP24 entry-level Wi-Fi 6E access point.
