Overview

The SA6500 SSL VPN Appliance is specifically built to provide remote VPN security access for users at large enterprises and service providers. This SSL VPN remote network security access solution features best-in-class performance, scalability, and redundancy for organizations requiring high volume secure remote VPN access and authorization. A FIPS model is available as well.

SA6500 uses the SSL security protocol to eliminate the need for pre-installed client software, changes to internal servers, and costly ongoing maintenance and support of client computers. It also offers partner/customer extranet features that enable controlled access to differentiated users and groups without requiring infrastructure changes, demilitarized zones, or software agents.

The SA6500 SSL VPN Appliance includes Juniper Networks Junos Pulse to enable optimized, accelerated, anytime/anywhere access to corporate networks, clouds, and the data they hold, by enabling SSL access from a wide range of mobile and non-mobile devices.

  • Uses SSL to enable secure remote access without client software, and with no changes to servers.
  • Cross-Platform Support allows users to access corporate resources from any type of device with any operating system.
  • Host Checker scans endpoints to ensure security policy compliance before and during sessions.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) alleviates the need for users to have multiple sets of credentials.
