Inclusion and Diversity

Making connections is Juniper’s business and it’s also a central part of our culture. We’re building an innovative workplace that strives for excellence and authenticity, has inclusion at its core and enriches our organization with people from diverse backgrounds, experiences, identities and thinking styles.

We want Juniper to be a place where everyone feels welcome, feels valued and knows that their views are heard.

Inclusion and Diversity
Our commitment

Our commitment

Inclusion and diversity foster innovation, drive strength, and are competitive assets for our organization. We lead with vision and empathy, promoting understanding and awareness across our workforce. We constantly review our processes and practices, challenging ourselves to make bold changes and investments.

Inclusion and Diversity - Juniper by Numbers

Juniper by the numbers

As our workforce continues to shift and grow, the makeup of our employees evolves from year to year. While achieving diverse representation takes time, we believe that consistent, positive movement over an extended time demonstrates our progress. To hold ourselves accountable, we continue to be transparent in our inclusion and diversity efforts and have been sharing our workforce data publicly since 2018. In 2023, we not only grew our population of women employees in technical and non-technical roles globally but also our population of underrepresented groups in the U.S. By cultivating a diverse workplace, we are building an innovative community that strives for excellence and authenticity.

Programs for progress

We’ve established several successful initiatives to help our employees feel a sense of belonging, connection, respect and equity.

Life at Juniper

University Talent Program

The next generation of talented Juniper colleagues is already making its mark at universities around the world. This global program helps encourage and mentor talent and develop meaningful relationships with students, faculty and new graduates.

Since 2017, we’ve welcomed interns in China, Japan, India, Canada, Australia, Saudi Arabia, the U.S. and across Europe.

Celebrating Our Differences

Our year is full of celebrations of the cultures and history that comprise the diversity of our Juniper family. Black History Month, International Women's Month Day, Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month, Pride Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, National Native American Heritage Month and International Day of Persons with Disabilities are just a few of these commemorations.

Sponsorship Program

One of the ways Juniper is working to improve our gender diversity, specifically in positions of leadership, is through our Women’s Sponsorship Program. Designed to enhance the development, visibility and growth opportunities for our next generation of female talent, this multi-faceted initiative includes building a strong network of peers, personalized executive coaching and exposure to senior leadership.

Cleo Parenting Programs

Juggling digital innovation with new parenting requires an out-of-the-box approach. The Cleo Bump to Baby program offers working parents support from the first trimester to their little one’s first birthday, while Cleo Kids is a support program for all parents of kids under 12.
