Juniper Networks to Demonstrate the Latest High-Performance Networking Infrastructure Solutions at 4G World 2009

Juniper to Showcase Innovative Solutions for Multi-Layered Security, Legacy Migration and Evolution to 4G; Company Executives to Contribute to Multiple Speaking Sessions

MEDIA ADVISORY - CHICAGO, September 15, 2009 - Juniper Networks (NASDAQ: JNPR), the leader in high-performance networking, will be participating at the 4G World 2009 Conference and Expo, in Chicago from September 15-18, demonstrating its advanced security and wireless network infrastructure solutions. In addition, Juniper's technology experts will be leading several speaking sessions that will discuss a variety of wireless networking trends, innovative applications and business issues related to 4G mobile broadband networks and the evolution of networking

Located in booth 522, Juniper Networks will feature multiple demonstration areas and product displays that illustrate how Juniper's wireless infrastructure products enable service providers to deliver a consistent, high-quality mobile broadband experience while lowering network operating costs and driving network monetization. Specifically, Juniper will be exhibiting its comprehensive dynamic multi-layered security solution that provides a unique approach to ensuring a secure network, its integrated mobile backhaul solution that enables legacy migration and evolution to 4G, as well as a number of service centric solutions aimed at increasing speed and flexibility while reducing costs for service providers.

The product displays will include:

  • Juniper Networks SRX Series Services Gateways that simultaneously scale integrated services and network capabilities on a single architecture in both enterprise and service provider networks;
  • Juniper Networks BX7000 Multi-Access Gateway which addresses operators' current network expenditures and challenges, while paving the way for migration to 4G technologies; and
  • The Intelligent Services Edge (MX Series) that is leveraging a single operating system to deliver a comprehensive range of services. The Intelligent Services Edge portfolio of features boosts service speed and provides flexibility through a number of key solutions including: Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Session Border Control (SBC), StreamScope eRm and Telchemy ePM.

In addition, Juniper executives will also share the company's wireless networking vision with event participants.
