Juniper Networks Earns Five-Star Designation from Everything Channel for 2009 Partner Program

SUNNYVALE, Calif., April 27, 2009 - Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR) today announced its J-Partner Program has earned a Five-Star Certification in Everything Channel's 15th annual 2009 Partner Program Guide (PPG). The accolade marks the fifth year in a row that Juniper Networks has been named one of the IT channel's top vendors in North America.

Everything Channel's PPG recognizes and rewards the overall commitment and strength of an IT vendor's channel partner program. A list of the 2009 PPG winners appeared in the March 30 issue of CRN magazine and online at www.Channelweb.com. Research for the PPG and the Everything Channel Five-Star Program was conducted by Everything Channel's Institute for Partner Education & Development (IPED). IPED analyzed 130 vendor programs this year: the companies with the highest overall weighted scores received the Everything Channel Five-Star Program designation.

According to Juniper Networks' Channel Chief Frank Vitagliano, the J-Partner Program's consecutive Five-Star Certification wins demonstrate the company's unwavering commitment to the IT channel and ongoing investment in its partners' success.

In February 2009, Juniper Networks announced several enhancements to its J-Partner Program, offering its channel partners even greater opportunities for mutual profitability and market share growth. These included a number of new partner segments programs along with new product and service specialization opportunities, enablement tools and resources.
