PEER 1 Deploys New Global Backbone with Juniper Networks

Juniper M-series Enables Leading Internet Infrastructure Provider to Rapidly Introduce Secure Next-Generation Services

SUNNYVALE, Calif., March 18, 2008 - Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR), the leader in high-performance networking, today announced that PEER 1 Networks (TSX-V: PIX), a leading supplier of IT infrastructure for business in Canada, USA and Europe, has deployed Juniper's M-series Multiservice Edge Routers in all its major points of presence globally. Built upon the Juniper Networks M120 Multiservice Edge Routers, PEER 1's next-generation backbone network will enable them to quickly and cost-effectively introduce a range of new ultra high-speed Ethernet and SONET-based business-class services.
