NTT Com Asia Limited Expands Managed Security Service Offering with Juniper Networks

Leading Asia Pacific Telecom Service Provider Offers Managed Remote Access Service to Hong Kong Market with Secure Access 6000 SSL VPN

SUNNYVALE, Calif., November 28, 2006 - Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR) today announced that NTT Com Asia Limited (NTT Com Asia), one of Asia Pacific’s leading telecom service providers, has deployed the Juniper Networks Secure Access 6000 SSL VPN appliances with the Instant Virtual Systems feature set to provide managed remote access services for the Hong Kong market.

"Our new SSL VPN gateway service allows our customers to securely access intranet file sharing, e-mail and other client-server business applications through any Web browser regardless of location," said Walter Fung, Director of Business Development & Strategic Planning for NTT Com Asia. "We believe the growth potential for Managed Services is significant and it is important for us to team up with Juniper to offer quality services to our customers."

The Secure Access 6000 appliances are part of Juniper Networks' portfolio of SSL VPN appliances, and are high-performance platforms purpose-built for the largest, most complex and secure extranet, intranet, and LAN access deployments. The Secure Access 6000 appliances deployed at NTT Com Asia operate with Juniper Networks' Advanced Feature Set, which includes advanced role and resource usage definition and management to allow organizations to administer different security policies for different departments.

The Instant Virtual Systems (IVS) feature of the SA 6000 enables NTT Com Asia to completely segment SSL VPN traffic between multiple customers within its cluster pair of SA 6000 appliances, and ensure network independence. Customers of NTT Com Asia's managed service can also enjoy dedicated administrator controls for their own SSL VPN segments without the risk of sharing the controls or segment with other parties using IVS capabilities. NTT Com Asia also integrated a one-time password solution via the highly flexible Secure Access 6000 SSL VPN authentication features to provide added end-to-end security to its customers.

"Greater China enterprises need secure, reliable and quickly deployable network security solutions to support their rapid, real-time business growth," said Eric Yu, vice president of Greater China, Juniper Networks. "Managed services such as those offered by NTT Com Asia allow companies to immediately leverage the cost savings and increased productivity of SSL VPN and firewall solutions without waiting to scale up in-house resources and skill-sets or commit to large capital expenditures."
