Juniper Networks Recognizes NTT Taiwan as 100th T-series Customer

NTT Taiwan Deploys T-series Routing Platform to Improve Network Performance and Reliability

SUNNYVALE, Calif., September 15, 2005 - Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR) today announced that it has recognized NTT Taiwan, one of Taiwan's leading telecommunications service providers, as the 100th T-series customer. NTT Taiwan has deployed the T-series routing platform to expand the capacity of its core IP/MPLS network with assured levels of performance and reliability.

"The T-series is recognized throughout the industry as a proven and highly reliable core routing platform, and it continues to lead in supporting the advanced services that carriers require," said Eric Lin, Juniper's country manager for Taiwan. "NTT Taiwan selected the T-series for its unique combination of high performance, high availability and advanced service capabilities."

Shipping since April 2002, over 1,000 T-series units are deployed in production networks today worldwide. With the multi-chassis TX Matrix technology, the T-series provides a seamless migration path to multi-terabit speeds. NTT Taiwan also deployed the Juniper Networks M-series multiservice edge routers in smaller sites in its network. Both the M- and T-series leverage JUNOS, the industry's only operating system that combines proven reliability with an evergreen development cycle that ensures continuous, non-disruptive feature and functionality enhancements.

"After more than three years of real world performance, the T-series continues to strengthen its position as the industry's flagship core router," said Adam Judd, vice president of Asia Pacific for Juniper Networks. "We're very pleased that the T-series is supporting NTT Taiwan's expansion and look forward to continued success for the T-series in the core of secure and assured networks worldwide."
