WNS Global Services Secures and Assures Voice and Data Network with Juniper Networks Routing Platforms

Leading Outsourcing Provider Deploys M-series to Support Global MPLS Network

SUNNYVALE, June 1st, 2005 - Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR) today announced that WNS Global Services, a leading global business process outsourcing (BPO) company, has transitioned its global voice and data network to IP/MPLS with Juniper Networks M-series Multiservice Edge routing platforms.

The M-series platform provides the foundation for WNS's private, MPLS-based global network, and delivers the reliability, security, and performance assurance required to support a full spectrum of network services, including voice, Internet access, streaming media, and other real-time data traffic.

"As a leading provider of outsourcing services, we rely on our network for many customer-facing applications, through our data and call center activities, and therefore believe in deploying solutions that provide the highest levels of security, performance and reliability," said Lyndon Rodrigues, President - Solutions Design & Technology, WNS Global Services. "Given our global footprint, the Juniper Networks M-series provides us the flexibility to support multiple connectivity options, ensuring our transition to MPLS is as seamless as possible."

WNS is a leading global BPO company with offices in New York, London and Ipswich (UK); offshore delivery centers in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik and Gurgaon in India; and Colombo in Sri Lanka. WNS provides a wide range of simple to complex BPO services to leading global corporations, including simple data management, rules-based transaction processing, customer interactions and complex analytics.

The M-series Multiservice Edge routing platforms uniquely combine best-in-class IP/MPLS capabilities with unmatched reliability, stability, security, and performance. These multiservice edge routing platforms allow service providers and large enterprises to consolidate multiple networks onto a single IP/MPLS infrastructure. M-series Multiservice Edge routing systems use a high-performance hardware-based approach combined with the highly scalable, secure, and reliable JUNOS software, which enables multiple services without compromise on a single IP/MPLS platform.

"As enterprises demand more performance, security and reliability out of their networks, they are increasingly looking at technologies such as IP/MPLS that were originally developed for service provider networks," said Java Girdhar, Juniper Networks' country manager for India and SAARC. "WNS is a leading example of these forward-thinking organizations, and by building its global network with the M-series, is moving towards a secure and assured network as outlined in the Infranet vision."
