Juniper Networks Showcases Secure and Assured Cable Networking Solutions at the NCTA 2005 National Show

What: Juniper Networks (NASDAQ: JNPR) will showcase its industry-leading secure and assured networking solutions and partnerships aimed at transforming broadband cable services. Juniper will have several demonstrations at its own booth (#5280), and will also be participating in demonstrations at the CableNET® and GameNET booths.

This year's National Show, the 54th Annual Convention & International Exposition of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA), will highlight the products, services and equipment enabling the cable industry to deliver advanced broadband services to millions of consumers.

Juniper Networks Booth: Juniper Networks will have a total of five demonstrations and presentations available in its own booth, featuring a range of the company's best-in-class secure and assured networking solutions. Demonstrations will showcase capabilities that enable cable operators to deliver advanced multimedia services with increased levels of security and performance, and will include the M-series multi-service edge routers, the J-series Services Router, Juniper Networks NetScreen-5GT and the SDX-300 Service Deployment System. One featured demonstration, delivered in conjunction with RealNetworks, will highlight a dynamic upgrade to streaming media quality as driven by intelligent signaling between Real's Helix Universal Server and Juniper's SDX.

CableNET Booth: Juniper Networks will demonstrate how cable operators can utilize an IP-based platform to deliver managed commercial services. Enhanced, high quality video conferencing capabilities as enabled by Juniper's partnership with Polycom will be highlighted, as well as the partitioned service control functionality available to business customers.

GameNET Booth: Juniper Networks and Exent Technologies will be introducing an integrated solution designed to enhance a broadband user's gaming experience. Through intelligent signaling between the Exent management platform and the SDX-300, gamers will be able to retrieve games in an accelerated dynamic fashion and have a higher level of service quality during game play.
