(Nasdaq: JNPR) today announced it has been recognized in a recently released research report published by Gartner, Inc., a leading worldwide research and advisory firm. Juniper is positioned in the Leaders Quadrant in Gartner Inc.'s IPSec virtual private network (VPN) equipment Magic Quadrant.

The report, entitled: "MQ for IPsec VPN Equipment, 2004*", summarized evaluation of more than 15 vendors in the IPSec VPN equipment market based on the following criteria: enterprise focus and commitment, security and networking vision, partnership vision, financial commitment, product capabilities, distribution and support, and market position and mind share.
