Neoteris Opens Operations in Benelux Region to Meet Growing Demand for Industry-Leading Instant Virtual Extranet Products

AON International Utilizes Leading SSL VPN Products for Secure Employee Access; Centior and QConsulting Sign On as Benelux Region Reseller Partners

DIEGEM, Belgium - November 10, 2003 - Neoteris®, Inc., the leading Application Security Gateway vendor with more than 600 enterprise customers worldwide, today announced the establishment of Neoteris Benelux, a new sales and support office serving Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. The company recently appointed Stefaan Eens as the new Neoteris Benelux regional sales manager. Under his leadership, the Benelux team will support new and existing customers, such as AON International BV, among others, with local customer service, sales and account management; and will establish additional channel relationships to help drive the growing in-region demand for the Neoteris Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)-based Access Series™ and Meeting Series™ products.

Eens brings more than 15 years of networking experience to Neoteris’ EMEA team. He started his sales career at Bull, a developer of open IT environment servers and software technologies. Following Bull, Eens was a sales manager at 3COM, leading enterprise networking technology sales in Belgium and Luxembourg. After 3COM, he joined Extreme Networks, a provider of network switching solutions for carriers and enterprises, as the general manager focusing on all sales activities in the Benelux region. Since leaving Extreme Networks for Neoteris, Eens has already begun building his team, establishing a growing customer base, and signing leading IT technology resellers, such as Centior and QConsulting, as channel partners.

“The Benelux region is one of the most advanced markets for IT technologies,” said Krishna “Kittu” Kolluri, President and CEO of Neoteris. “We’ve had our first success with end-user customers there in different segments such as IT, finance, pharmaceuticals and media. We are pleased to build on our leading market position to penetrate Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg with Stefaan leading the charge. His initial contribution to Neoteris has been invaluable - landing initial large deals and signing Centior and QConsulting. His experience will no doubt help us scale our operations in Benelux.”

The Neoteris Benelux office is located in Regus Pegasus Park, Pegasuslaan 5, B-1831, Diegem, Belgium. In addition to this newly established office, Neoteris has operations in the United Kingdom, Germany, North America, Japan, Korea, and India.

Numerous independent authorities have recognized Neoteris’ SSL VPN category leadership. For 1H’03, Gartner, Inc., listed Neoteris in the Leader Quadrant in its SSL VPN Magic Quadrant report2, while Frost & Sullivan awarded Neoteris the Market Leadership Award for garnering the SSL VPN industry’s leading market share in 1H’03 with 36 percent. In-Stat/MDR has also named Neoteris as the market share leader, with 34 percent of the 2002 global SSL VPN product revenue. In addition, Frost & Sullivan named Neoteris the Entrepreneurial Company of the Year Award for 2003. Neoteris has earned more than 12 industry awards in 2003 alone.

Neoteris Access Series Product Family

The Neoteris Access Series™, built upon the award-winning Neoteris Instant Virtual Extranet (IVE) platform, provides enterprise-class secure access to network resources for remote employees, customers, and partners. Contrary to traditional access technologies, there is no client software to install because Neoteris leverages SSL for secure, controlled access to resources via any Web browser. The Access appliances also eliminate the need to secure or harden servers, or make changes to existing infrastructure. The result is a more cost effective, secure access solution that is easy for customers to deploy and simple for end-users to operate.

Neoteris Access appliances provide application-layer access, stringent access controls, and granular auditing and reporting capabilities to further minimize IT headaches and security concerns. Additionally, the IVE platform offers enterprise-class high availability and performance scalability options, so secure access can be deployed on a wide scale without worrying about user downtime, lost productivity or network performance. Neoteris IVE appliances have passed rigorous security audits by TruSecure Corporation, Cryptography Research, Inc., and security and forensic computing expert Dan Farmer. The products have also won numerous awards as an innovative and compelling access solution, helping enterprises and schools increase efficiency and productivity.

The Neoteris Meeting Series Product Family

The Neoteris Meeting Series™ is the industry’s first secure cross-enterprise meeting appliance. Built upon the award-winning IVE platform, the Meeting Series enables enterprises to leverage their IT infrastructure to deploy secure, real-time collaboration at a fraction of the cost of alternative solutions. The Meeting Series does not require software deployments or a custom extranet, and it instantly secures cross-enterprise online meetings, protecting enterprises from data exposure, AAA policy violations, system compromises, and network penetration, all while reducing the cost of cross-enterprise collaboration.

Pricing and Availability

The Neoteris Access Series and Meeting Series products are available from qualified resellers with prices starting at approximately 9700 EURO.
