NetScreen Names New Vice President of North America Sales
Sunnyvale, CA - May 1, 2003 - NetScreen Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: NSCN) today announced that it has named Chris Andrews to the new position of vice president of North American sales.
A technology industry veteran with more than 20 years of sales experience at well-known companies including 3Com, Unisys and NetFrame, Andrews is leading NetScreen's enterprise and carrier sales activities in North America. Andrews reports to Mark Smith, vice president of worldwide sales for NetScreen.
Before joining NetScreen, Andrews was vice president of worldwide sales and field operations at NetContinuum of Santa Clara, Calif., a privately held maker of appliance-based web security gateways. While at NetContinuum, Andrews built the company's sales strategy and worldwide sales organization.
