NetScreen Global Security Alliance Solutions Showcased at NetWorld+Interop Las Vegas

Sunnyvale, CA - April 10, 2003 - NetScreen Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: NSCN) today announced it will host NetScreen Global Security Alliance (NGSA) members at its NetWorld+Interop 2003 booth, #4793 in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The NetScreen alliance partner pavilion offers show attendees an opportunity to see first-hand product demonstrations and learn how to enhance their current network security infrastructure with best-in-breed NetScreen solutions and those of its security alliance members.

Joining NetScreen in its alliance partner pavilion will be Certicom, NetIQ, RouteScience, RSA Security, SurfControl, Smartpipes, and Trend Micro, where each company will demonstrate their respective solutions that interoperate and integrate with NetScreen products to provide end-to-end network security protection.

Member companies of the Global Security Alliance provide products complementary to NetScreen's integrated network security solutions. These products undergo testing to certify functionality and interoperability. Consequently, information technology professionals can obtain an array of scalable solutions integrating NetScreen and member companies' products to create an interoperable and effective end-to-end security infrastructure.

"The NetScreen Global Security Alliance pavilion will showcase a variety of offerings that complement the NetScreen product line and serve enterprise needs for best-in-breed security solutions," said Janine Roth, vice president of business development at NetScreen. "As these solutions are certified to work seamlessly with NetScreen solutions, enterprise customers can enjoy increased security and manageability, as well as reduced cost of ownership."

At the show, scheduled April 28 - May 1, NetScreen also will demonstrate its line of purpose-built, integrated virtual private network (VPN) and firewall solutions, as well as its intrusion detection and prevention appliances. NetScreen also will participate in the InteropNet Event Network (eNet), which provides high-speed connectivity to NetWorld+Interop exhibitors, staff and attendees - showcasing the capabilities of an integrated network, mirroring the real-world networks of leading corporate enterprises.
