NetScreen Moves Worldwide Headquarters

Sunnyvale, CA - February 10, 2003 - NetScreen Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: NSCN) today announced it has moved its worldwide headquarters to a new location in Sunnyvale, Calif. NetScreen will consolidate three local offices into one and double its office space while reducing costs. Built in 2001, NetScreen's new headquarters is located at 805 11th Ave., Sunnyvale, Calif., and encompasses approximately 156,000 square feet. It will house NetScreen's local employees and include a customer training facility and a new briefing center.

"We are fortunate to be experiencing growth in difficult economic times. Our growth, coupled with the current low lease rates, makes it possible to consolidate our multiple sites under one roof and allow more room for efficient operations," said Robert Thomas, NetScreen president and CEO. "Our new location also reduces absolute costs on a monthly basis and can support our planned expansion for the foreseeable future."

The move from NetScreen's previous headquarters location in Sunnyvale is effective immediately and will be completed on Feb. 10.
