Juniper Networks Enables Scalable Smart IP Services for Genuity's Internet Advantage Customers

Sunnyvale, CA - September 11, 2001 - Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: JNPR), a leading provider of next-generation Internet Protocol (IP) infrastructure systems, today announced that Genuity (Nasdaq: GENU) has selected Juniper Networks M160 Internet backbone routers to provide smart, scalable, dedicated access services for its Internet Advantage customers.

Leveraging the rate limiting features of Juniper Networks Internet Processor II ASIC, Genuity, the leading provider of Internet infrastructure services and eBusiness network platforms, can now offer its customers secure, cost-effective, scalable bandwidth.
