End of Service for NetScreen-100
End of Service
The NetScreen-100 appliance will reach End of Service on 14-Jan-2006, in accordance with standard Juniper End of Life Policies and Procedures.
Summary of Key Milestones
Last Time Buys
NetScreen will cease to manufacture any more NetScreen-100 appliances as of March 11, 2003, the End of Manufacturing (EOM) date. Although partners have 60 days from this date to place any last orders, NetScreen will only be able to fulfill these orders out of existing inventory and is not obligated to fulfill any orders after this date, as per Juniper End of Life Policies and Procedures.
Stock Rotation
Where applicable per contract, stock rotation rights may be exercised until the EOM date only. NetScreen is not obligated to honor any requests for stock rotation after this date.

These part numbers can be ordered up until the EOS date but only for those versions
of ScreenOS that are supported on the NetScreen-100.

Upgrade Options
Customers seeking a NetScreen security solution with similar performance and
capacities are encouraged to evaluate the next appliance in the product line,
the NetScreen-204 or NetScreen-208 appliance.
Software
Customers may upgrade to a more recent version of ScreenOS for the NetScreen-100,
including the latest version of NetScreen ScreenOS, version 4.0. When upgrading
to a more recent release, certain hardware platforms may no longer be supported.
