Name
|
Enter an alphanumeric string. You can use special characters such as hyphens,
underscores, and periods. Do not start the name with a space.

Target devices
|
Select one of the following device targets, based on whether you want to
discover a single device or multiple devices:

IP subnet

Hostname

IP address
|
Enter the IPv4 or IPv6 address of the device that you want to discover.
|
|
Start Address
|
Enter the starting IPv4 or IPv6 address of the range of IP addresses for the
devices that you want to discover.
|
|
End Address
|
Enter the ending IPv4 or IPv6 address of the range of IP addresses for the
devices that you want to discover. The maximum number of IP addresses for any
target type is 1024.

|
IP subnet
|
Enter the IPv4 or IPv6 address or the IP address and prefix of the subnet to
which the devices that you want to discover belong. Enter the subnet mask of
the subnet. If you enter a prefix in the preceding field, this field displays
the subnet mask calculated based on the prefix.

Hostname
|
Enter the hostname of the device that you want to discover.
|
|
SSH port
|
Enter the SSH port number of the device that you want to discover. Enter a
value between 1 and 65535. By default, the value is 22.
|

Probe using ping
|
Click the toggle button to send ping request to the device. You must
configure your device to respond to ping requests.

|
Device Credentials
|

Proxy server
|
If you use a proxy server to connect to your devices, enable this option.
Click Configure to set up a DHCP or static proxy
server.

Username
|
Enter the device username for authentication.
|

Password
|
Enter the device password.
