Bug Fixes

  • Software upgrade limitation for SRX1600 and SRX2300 firewalls—For Juniper Networks® SRX1600 and Juniper Networks® SRX2300 firewalls, Juniper Security Director was unable to upgrade the software image from 23.4R1.9 to any other version. This issue is now resolved.

  • Incorrect install interval value in a remote access VPN—Previously, if you created a remote access VPN without specifying an install interval, the system incorrectly configured the install interval as 0 and added a matching command. This issue is now resolved.

  • Backup and restore limitations—Previously, backup and restore operations did not support junos image, schema, application signature, and URL categories. This issue is now resolved.

  • SMTP server connection error during onboarding—When logging in to the customer‑onboarding web GUI, users previously encountered an error after entering valid SMTP server details, enabling authentication, and clicking Test SMTP Server. The system used to report that it could not connect to the SMTP server and prompted users to verify their settings. This issue is now resolved.

  • Kubernetes control plane issue—In some upgrades to Juniper Security Director 25.2.2 release, the system could come up with Kubernetes in a degraded state, causing applications to be down and the UI to be inaccessible. This issue is now resolved.

  • Unable to import address-object with csv file—Previously, when importing address‑objects using a CSV file, the job status was showing success even for the objects that were not imported successfully. This issue is now resolved.
