Juniper Security Director Cloud Bug Fixes: May 1, 2026
Security policy deployment failure—Previously, security policy deployment on some devices failed due to duplicate rules causing incorrect ordering and timeouts. This issue is now resolved.
Rollback failure for large security policies—Previously, rolling back large policies such as policies with around 2,500 rules and 6,000 objects, took several minutes. It either notified users of delays or showed rollback status as In progress even after failure. This issue is now resolved.
Security policy deployment failure on some devices—Previously, intermittent failure occurred on an SRX Series Firewall during security policy deployment, even though previews were successful. The issue was dependent on the specific device configuration encountered during the deployment workflow. This issue is now resolved.
API documentation—Previously, users encountered incomplete answers when using AI tools, such as Ask AI on the HPE Juniper Networking Documentation site, due to missing LLM-friendly files in the Juniper Security Director Cloud API docs. This issue is now resolved.
All Security Events page UI-related issues—Previously, the Operations > Logs > All Security Events page had the following UI issues:
-
Time range—Adjusting the time-range slider on the All Security Events page sometimes failed to update the displayed range, causing mismatches with filters. The text for the time range, last updated timestamp, and slider graph markers was hard to read, making it challenging to review event timelines. These issues are now resolved.
-
Event Category field—The Event Category field on the All Security Events page presented information in a manner that was difficult to interpret, making it challenging for users to accurately understand event details. This field has been removed and the issues now resolved.
-
Event Name on Event Log Details Page—The Event Log Details page from the All Security Events page did not display the event name. This issue is now resolved.
-
Right-click menu options—Right-click menu options like Detail view, Exclude, and Include failed to display when switching from the Summary View tab to the Detail View on the All Security Events page, displaying only the browser’s default menu. This issue is now resolved.
Advanced Threat Prevention pages UI-related issues—Previously, the pages under Security > Advanced Threat Prevention had the following UI issues:
-
Incorrect anti-malware file hash total—The File Hash tab on the Blocklists page under Advanced Threat Prevention included both permitted and blocked file hashes in the overall total, which led to an incorrect count of blocked hashes. This issue is now resolved.
-
Time range on SMTP Quarantine page—Custom time ranges did not update properly on the SMTP Quarantine page under Advanced Threat Prevention, leaving results unchanged. This issue is now resolved.
Other UI-related issues—Previously, the Juniper Security Director Cloud UI had the following UI issues:
-
Menu names on the Favorites online help panel—The Favorites panel of the online help showed incorrect menu names in English and Japanese languages. This issue is now resolved.
-
Alert bell icon on the UI banner—Users could not click individual alerts from the alert bell icon to view details. Instead, they had to select Review all and search manually on the Alerts page. This issue is now resolved.
-
Time range on Summary View tab—The Threats, Web Filtering, and All Security Events pages showed incorrect data when switching from the Detail View tab to the Summary View tab due to inconsistent time ranges. This issue is now resolved.
Secure Edge Bug Fixes: May 1, 2026
Site provisioning—Previously, new site tunnels failed to establish properly when sites were created, resulting in provisioning errors. This issue is now resolved.
