Device Login and Initial Configuration
Learn to perform the initial software configuration on your MX204, MX301, MX304, MX10004, or MX10008 routers using Junos OS Evolved CLI.
You can easily customize the factory-default configuration on an MX Series router with just a few commands. You'll learn how to connect to your device using the console port and perform an initial configuration to get your device up and running. You can always revert to the factory-default configuration whenever you want.
See the hardware guide for your MX Series device for instructions on how to connect to the console port.
