Publish a DNS Filter Policy

After you create a DNS filter, use this page to select the devices on which the selected policy will be published and publish the filter before you deploy the policy on the devices.

To publish a DNS filter:

  1. Go to Configure> Firewall Policy> DNS Filter

    The DNS Filter page is displayed.

  2. Select the DNS filter and click Publish.

    The Publish DNS Filter Policy is displayed.

  3. Perform one of the following steps:

    • Select Run now to publish the policy immediately

    • Select Schedule at a later time to schedule and publish the configuration later.

  4. Select the devices to which the policy changes will be published.
    Note:

    You can search for a specific device by name or IP address on which the policy is published.
  5. Click View under the Configuration tab to preview the configuration details of the selected device.
  6. Click Publish.

    The Job Details page is displayed with the following information: job type, job Id, job name, user name, job state, percentage completed, and the job timestamp. You can click Export to CSV to save the job details as a CSV file.

  7. Click OK.

    The DNS Filter page is displayed.
