Assign a Sinkhole to a Domain

You can assign or reassign a sinkhole to a domain when it is first configured or when you modify it. Before assigning a sinkhole to a domain, Security Director checks for the validity of the move. If the move is not acceptable, a warning is displayed. However, you can choose to ignore the warning.

  1. Go to Configure> Firewall Policy> DNS Sinkhole.

The DNS Sinkhole page is displayed.

  2. Select the sinkhole that you want to assign to a domain, click the More menu, and then click Assign DNS Sinkhole to Domains.

The Assign DNS Sinkhole to Domain page is displayed.

  3. Select the domains to which you want to assign the sinkhole.
  4. Enable the option to ignore warnings that may be displayed if an issue was detected when Security Director validates the assignment, if required.
  5. Click OK.
