About This Network Configuration Example

This network configuration example describes dual-stack lite (DS-Lite), a technology that enables Internet service providers (ISPs) to move to an IPv6 network while simultaneously handling IPv4 address depletion. It also provides step-by-step configuration examples for configuring DS-Lite for IPv6 access, configuring redundancy and load-balancing using a single DS-Lite Address Family Transition Router (AFTR), and configuring redundancy with two or more DS-Lite AFTRs using a single IPv6 anycast address.
