About this Network Configuration Example

This network configuration example (NCE) describes how to set up the network and security infrastructure in a small branch office using Juniper Networks’ NFX350 NextGen services gateways. It outlines the dual role of the Juniper Networks’ NFX350 Network Services Platform as a branch security gateway and a virtualization platform. This NCE provides step-by-step configuration for initial onboarding and provisioning of basic services, like DHCP, source NAT, and network visibility and performance monitoring of the devices connected to the NFX350 Next Generation universal CPE (uCPE) services gateway. The network visibility and monitoring agent is implemented as a VNF on the NFX350 uCPE. Ubuntu is used as the operating system for this VNF.
