Juniper Mist Clouds
Regional Clouds
The Juniper Mist™ environment uses regional clouds and accounts for optimal performance. When creating an organization, you should use the region nearest to you. For North American users, Global 03 is the current default environment, and all new organizations are created there.
Note that organizations created in one cloud are not available on another. Likewise, accounts created in one cloud do not apply to organizations on another cloud – you must create an account for each cloud that you have organizations in. If you already have organizations in Global 01 and do not want to use Global 03 for new organizations, you can contact support at support@mist.com for assistance.
Single sign-on (SSO) users can use the same SSO account for different clouds.
Claiming Devices with a QR Code
From within an organization, in the Juniper Mist console, you can adopt unclaimed devices such as a supported EX series switch, SRX series firewall, or Juniper Mist AP directly into an organization by providing the claim code or the order activation code.
For cloud-ready Juniper Mist devices, that is, those that have a sticker with a QR Code (along with device details such as the MAC and the claim code), scanning the QR code will open the appropriate log-in page for your account, region, and organization. From there, users with Super User, Network Admin, or Installer privileges can claim the device into the organization. Note that devices can only be claimed once, and can only belong to a single organization (you can "unclaim" a device and put it back into circulation for use in another organzation, but this requires help from the Juniper Mist support team: support@mist.com.
