Use this page to configure interface for firewall filters.

Field Descriptions

Table 1 describes the fields on the Assign Interfaces page.

Field

Description

Logical Interface Name

Displays the logical interfaces on a router. Allows you to apply IPv4 and IPv6 firewall filters to packets received on the interface and packets transmitted from the interface.

The options available are:

  • Input firewall filter:

    • IPv4 Input Filter—Enter the name of IPv4 filter applied to received packets.

    • IPv6 Input Filter—Enter the name of IPv6 filter applied to received packets.

  • Output firewall filter:

    • IPv4 Output Filter—Enter the name of IPv4 filter applied to transmitted packets.

    • IPv6 Output Filter—Enter the name of IPv6 filter applied to transmitted packets.

Click OK to save the changes.

Link State

Displays the status of the logical interface.

Input Firewall Filters

Displays the input firewall filter applied on an interface. This filter evaluates all packets received on the interface.

Output Firewall Filters

Displays the output firewall filter applied on an interface. This filter evaluates all packets transmitted from the interface.
