show chassis environment fan

Syntax

Description

(MX2020 and MX2010 routers only) Display environmental information about the fans and fan trays.

Options

none

Display environmental information about all fans and fan trays.

all-members

(Optional) Display environmental information about the fan and fan trays in all members of the Virtual Chassis configuration.

fantray-slot-number

(Optional) Display environmental information about the specified fan tray. Replace fantray-slot-number with a value from 0 through 3.

local

(Optional) Display environmental information about the fans and fan trays in the local member of the Virtual Chassis.

member member-id

(Optional) Display environmental information about the fans and fan trays in the specified member of the Virtual Chassis. Replace member-id with the value 0 or 1.

Output Fields

Table 1 lists the output fields for the show chassis environment fan command. Output fields are listed in the approximate order in which they appear.

Field Name

Field Description

Fan Tray Status

Status of the fan tray.

Temperature

Temperature in Celsius (C) and Fahrenheit (F) maintained by the fans.

Power

Power required and measured on the fan tray. The left column displays the required power, in volts. The right column displays the measured power, in millivolts.

Max Power Consumption

Maximum power consumed by the fan tray.
