time-format (year | millisecond | year millisecond);
Hierarchy Level
[edit system syslog]
Description
Include the year, the millisecond,
or both, in the timestamp on every standard-format system log message.
The additional information is included for messages directed to each
destination configured by a file, console, or user
statement at the [edit system syslog]
hierarchy level, but not to destinations configured by a host
statement.
Default
The timestamp specifies the month, date, hour, minute, and second when the message was logged—for example, Aug 21 12:36:30.
When the structured-data
statement
is included at the [edit system syslog file filename]
hierarchy level, this statement is ignored for the file.
Options
millisecond—Include the millisecond in the timestamp.
year—Include the year in the timestamp.
