General Routing

  • Link with the DAC (SFP56-50G-DAC-3M ) comes up with 25G default speed configuration when switch is rebooted. Hence, When 50G speed configuration is applied , peer side sees the link flap. PR1836697

  • Hitting with input-errors and framing-errors on channelizing QSFP56-DD-400GBASE-DR4.PR1848109

  • On Junos Evolved OS platforms like QFX5000 (QFX5230/QFX5240), ungraceful swapping a 400G DAC with a 400G DR4 optic (or vice-versa) might lead to traffic loss.PR1862711

  • With a back-to-back connection using 800G ZR* optics, if one end is configured with native speed (default) and other end is configured wit 8x100G mode, then the expectation is that link is down on both ends because of the configuration mismatch between the ends; but one of the two ends shows as up. The same behaviour is presented by 400G ZR* optics also. PR1884559

  • 800G-DR8 3PO optics: rx-loss-of-signal-alarm does not get generated after disabling the interface on QFX5241-64OD.PR1886156

  • QFX5240-64OD/64QD: After configuring igmp snooping group_count is not as expected since groups are showing in irb's. PR1888392

  • QFX5130-48C and QFX5130-48CM macsec: on macsec enabled interfaces, after evo-pfemand restart with cli restart evo-pfemand, ping might not work sometimes.PR1891444

  • GNMI Get Request when queried on Openconfig Metadata only returns error. PR1894296

  • JDI-REG:VIRTUAL:Junos OS Evolved: Traffic loss observed during the verification of the traffic test for both IPv4 and IPv6 stream data. PR1916954

  • Junos OS Evolved-Suite fails due to SSH reconnection timeout as textchannel creation to Routing Engine device fails after reboot. PR1927502

EVPN

  • When duplicate-mac-detect feature is configured, if the mac moves from leaf to network in a VXLAN enviroment, the action discard does not take effect. The mac move is prevented. As an alternate, use the action shutdown port instead which is also one of the supported options.PR1871034

Interfaces and Chassis

  • On QFX5230-64CD platform, 400G DAC cable of 2.5m length and 4X100G DAC BO might not link up with some peer devices. This issue is not seen with all peer devices. If this happens, please replace the 2.5m cable with a 1m DAC cable or use supported 400G Optics instead.PR1747315

  • Object data structure was extended for a fix. During the extension, the extensions between the releases should match3. There was a mismatch wrt such extensions between the releases which caused the issue.PR1803068

  • Issue is not related to QFX5220 and not related to optics (QSFP56-DD-400GBASE-DR4). We encounter this issue is happening on the vendor line-side TX on the Hillside. Input error and framing are small in number it should not have significant impact on traffic.PR1848109

  • The traffic works fine with RE0 and FEB0 combination. So customers should use the same combination instead of RE1 and FEB1.PR1870507

Subscriber Access Management

  • On Junos Evolved platforms, after device has finished booting up with Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP), authd process crashes and generates a core file.PR1812697
