General Routing

  • When DHCP trace options are enabled, there is a possibility that jdhcpd could core. In general, traceoptions should be enabled only for debugging. They should be disabled once debuffing is done. PR1771121

  • On Junos OS Evolved based platforms, while using ping, traceroute, or other utility that requires host name resolution, an error is raised indicating hostname resolution has failed. PR1822994

  • DNS resolution for traceroute does not work for a router using the mgmt_vrf with 23.4R2-EVO. PR1858650

  • INLINEKA:CFM-SLM-RESPONDER No entry error might be seen with CFM configuration having more than one remote peer MEP in inline mode. There is no functional impact due to this error. PR1865524

  • Observing arpd.re core file on the device with bt __pthread_kill_internal testcase teardown with version Junos OS Evolved 25.2R2.8. PR1932974

  • On all Junos OS Evolved PTX Series platforms with multiple VLANs on an Aggregate Ethernet (AE) interface and an Firewall filter with family ethernet switching and bandwith policer attached to both the AE interface and its associated VLAN interfaces, a modification or deletion of the VLANs will lead to a FPC crash. All the traffic over the afeccted FPC will be droped. PR1934506

  • Reading JV sensor data through OpenConfig Path failed observing JV in-octets do not match expectation for AE IFL.PR1935543

Forwarding and Sampling

  • On Junos Evolved PTX devices, next-hop churn, such as adding and deleting routes, can lead to the exhaustion of available pfetokens. These tokens are claimed but not released, which causes low pfetoken availability. This issue results in traffic drops and unexpected system behaviour. PR1833330

Interfaces and Chassis

  • On PTX10003 systems, it is not allowed to configure ZR optics (400G) through CLI. PR1851078

MPLS

  • Observed that MPLS auto-policing is not dropping excess traffic on DUT PTX10002-36QDD.PR1917033
