  • Support for protobuf format (SRX300, SRX320, SRX340, SRX345, and SRX380)—Starting in Junos OS Release 23.4R2, SRX Series Firewalls support the Google protocol buffers (GBP or protobuf) format to encode the security logs. The device sends the encoded security log is sent to the target. The target decodes the logs for readability.
