General Routing

  • Layer 2 related daemons - lacpd, ifmand, and arpd - when patched using JSU may cause the Junos OS Evolved device to not boot up. PR1676132

  • G.8273.2 Synce to PTP and SyncE to 1PPS Transient Response test fails. PR1681527

  • Class B performance as per G.8273.2 fails for SyncE to PTP and SyncE to 1pps Noise transfer for lower frequencies. PR1681884

  • Class B performance as per G.8273.2 shall be supported only when FEC is enabled on both the master and slave ports of the T-BC(default option).PR1683579

  • With GRES on a PTX running Junos OS Evolved, the current Label Edge Router role's scaling is suggested to be at 32,000 LSPs. When the number of LSPs get closers to 60,000 entries, the LC1201 evo-aftmand-bt process might run out of memory which causes the process to exit and the FPC restarts. PR1707063

  • The crash happens only in certain FPC restart scenario where the same IPv6 group gets added multiple times when FPC comes up. This inturn causes the crash as FDB hash entry gets corrupted and subsequent delete and add of same group in the FDB causes invalid memory access Independent FPC restart was not seen to observe the same crash and logs. PR1735288

  • On a PTX10003, changing the wavelength on a QSFP56-DD-400G-ZR interface takes 4-5 minutes before the interface becomes available. PR1736351

  • Family-Any support is available only from 22.4-EVO. Only Inet6 family is supported previous to that release. PR1740412

  • Changing Decap only tunnel destination address configuration after tunnel is up might not work or handled and end up using previously configured tunnel destination address for decapsulaton. Once system enters this state any further configuration changes to tunnel configuration will not be handled. PR1575724

  • Currently DUT responds with original MAC instead of VMAC when doing proxy on interface configured with both proxy and VRRP. This issue needs to discuss with multiple team like VRRP and IFMAND. PR1704758

Network Management and Monitoring

  • There is no service impact due to the failure of these test suites and these issues are not reported by any customer. These are silver creek hardening tests for Junos OS Evolved and issues raised by internal test team. PR1675251

Routing Policy and Firewall Filters

  • On all Junos OS Evolved PTX platforms, when firewall filter with family inet6 is configured with source-port or destination-port and has next-header and no payload-protocol, error messages are observed causing the filter fail to install. PR1674893

Routing Protocols

  • The rpd might generate core when running slow related gribi toby scripts in fusion system. Running same scripts in manually deployed testbed will not trigger rpd core.PR1715599

User Interface and Configuration

  • In Junos OS Evolved, during scaled configuration commit, Configd daemon in UI-infra is taking more time to process the commit. To optimise the processing time, most likely there will be design change required. There is no LKWR/pass instance. Also based on the configuration scale and the time taken for the commit to complete, it seems that this is a Day-1 issue.PR1701214
