Class of Service
-
Classification based on outer IP DiffServ code point (DSCP) for the de-encapsulation tunnel interface (PTX10001-36MR and PTX10008)—By default, when a packet exits a tunnel, the terminating router removes the tunnel (outer) header and forwards the packet based on the classification in the inner header. Starting in Junos OS Evolved Release 23.2R1, on PTX10001-36MR and PTX10008 routers that act as an egress router for a tunnel, you can forward the packet based on the classification you assign to the outer header at the underlay (ingress) interface. To use this feature, you first set the

hierarchy level. You then assign the desired classifier to the underlay interface.[See Classification Based on Outer Header of Decapsulation Tunnel.]
