General Routing

  • When per queue level dedicated buffer calculated based on scheduler buffer-size configuration, any fractional dedicated buffer value rounded-off to closest lower full integer and programmed in hardware to avoid over allocation. Any unused port dedicated buffers after allocating dedicated buffers to all configured queues is allocated to first configured queue. PR1709097

Class of Service (CoS)

  • When class-of-service configurations are bound with interface through wildcard style and direct apply style together, direct apply style always take precedence. So when a direct bind of any class-of-service feature present on an interface, other class-of-service features (like scheduler, congestion notification profile, dedicated buffer profile, etc) applied using wildcard is ignored for that interface.
