Description

Options

  • last minute–Use this configuration to replay the events. Specify the time in minutes. Once you configure this configuration statement, eventd starts storing the syslog events. Eventd streams upto one million events. Once the replaying of the old data is over, eventd starts streaming the live events. While eventd is replaying the old data as initial sync and any live event takes place, the system immediately streams the live event.

This configuration has no relationship with the existing syslog configuration for writing and sending events to file and remote host. Choose facility from the available options under this configuration.
  • priority priority–Use this configuration to filter the events as per priority. You can use this configuration to filter the live and replay events. This configuration has no relationship with the existing syslog configuration for writing and sending events to file and remote host.
