resolution-map

Syntax

Hierarchy Level

Description

Define a set of protocol next hop resolution modes.

A resolution-map can be referred by a new resolution-map action of a policy statement, which is in turn applied to a VPN service through the routing-instance import-vrf. A given resolution-map may be shared by multiple policy-statements.

Note:

When you configure the resolution-map name action under a policy term, the configuration is validated to ensure that name is defined under the appropriate configuration hierarchy. If the referenced resolution-map is not configured, the commit fails during configuration validation, and you must either create the referenced resolution-map or remove the reference.
