show interfaces diagnostics optics-profile

Syntax

Description

Display diagnostic data for the supported optics (QSFP+, QSFP28, QSFP-DD). No output is displayed for unsupported optics (SFP, CFP, etc.) and for QSFP DAC (direct attach cables) modules.

Field Name Field Description
Optics type Type of optics supported. Supported optics are QSFP+, QSFP28, and QSFP-DD.
Number of lanes Number of lanes depending on the optics connected. Number of lanes supported is 0 through 7.
Power class Specifies the power class. Possible values: 1 through 8.
Power Mode Specifies the power mode. Possible values: High or Low.
Host Side FEC Specifies the FEC on host side optics. Possible values: Off, On, or Unsupported.
Media Side FEC Specifies the FEC on media side optics. Possible values: Off, On, or Unsupported.
Rx output manual control support Specifies if the optics can receive output. Possible values: Yes or No.
Tx CDR Implemented Specifies if the transmit clock and data recovery is implemented. Possible values: Yes or No.
Tx CDR manual control support Specifies if the transmit clock and data recovery can be configured. Possible values: Yes or No.
Rx CDR Implemented Specifies if the receive clock and data recovery status is implemented. Possible values: Yes or No.
Rx CDR manual control support Specifies if the receive clock and data recovery can be configured. Possible values: Yes or No.
Tx input equalization type Specifies the Input Equalization type. Also called Continous Time Linear Equalization (CTLE). Possible values: Manual or Adaptive.
Tx input equalization manual control Specifies if the input equalization is manual. Possible values: Yes or No.
Tx input equalization max value Specifies the maximum equalization value. Possible values: 0 through 10 dB.
Tx input equalization max settling time Specifies the time required for the maximum equalization value. Possible values: 100 through 25500 ms.
Rx output emphasis manual control support Specifies if the output emphasis can be configured. Possible values: Yes or No.
Rx output amplitude 100-400 mV no equalization Specifies that there is no equalization for 100mV to 400mV amplitude. Possible values: Off or On.
Rx output amplitude 300-600 mV no equalization Specifies that there is no equalization for 300mV to 600mV amplitude. Possible values: Off or On.
Rx output amplitude 400-800 mV no equalization Specifies that there is no equalization for 400mV to 800mV amplitude. Possible values: Off or On.
Rx output amplitude 600-1200 mV no equalization Specifies that there is no equalization for 600mV to 1200mV amplitude. Possible values: Off or On.
Tx squelch manual control support Specifies if the transmit squelch status is configured. Possible values: Off or On.
Rx squelch manual control support Specifies if the receive squelch status is configured. Possible values: Off or On.
Tx rate select version Version of the transmit rate select option. Possible values: Version 1, Version 2, and not supported.
Rx rate select version Version of the receive rate select option. Possible values: Version 1, Version 2, and not supported.
Lane Lane number. Possible values: 0 through 7.
Tx Laser Specifies the status of the transmit Laser. Possible values: Off or On.
Rx Output Specifies if the optics can receive output. Possible values: Off or On.
Tx CDR Specifies if the transmit clock and data recovery status of the optics. Possible values: Off or On.
Rx CDR Specifies if the receive clock and data recovery status of the optics. Possible values: Off or On.
Tx input equalization (CTLE) Specifies if input equalization is configured. Possible values: 0 through 10 dB.
Rx output emphasis Specifies if the optics can receive output emphasis. Possible values : 0 through 10 dB.
Rx output amplitude Specifies if the optics can receive output amplitude setting. Possible values:
  • 1200mV—No equalization for 600mV - 1200mV amplitude.
  • 400mV—No equalization for 100mV - 400mV amplitude.
  • 600mV—No equalization for 300mV - 600mV amplitude.
  • 800mV—No equalization for 400mV - 800mV amplitude.
Tx squelch Specifies the transmit squelch status of the optics. Possible values: Off or On.
Rx squelch Specifies the receive squelch status of the optics. Possible values: Off or On.
