route-suppression (DHCP Local Server and Relay Agent)

Syntax

Hierarchy Level

Description

Configure the jdhcpd process to suppress the installation of access, access-internal, or destination routes during client binding.

Note:

You cannot suppress access-internal routes when the subscriber is configured with both IA_NA and IA_PD addresses over IP demux interfaces—the IA_PD route relies on the IA_NA route for next hop connectivity.

Options

access

(DHCPv6 only) Suppress installation of access routes. You can use the access and access-internal options in the same statement for DHCPv6.

access-internal

In a DHCPv4 hierarchy, suppress installation of both access-internal and destination routes. In a DHCPv6 hierarchy, suppress access-internal routes only. Can be configured in the same statement with the access option.

destination

(DHCPv4 only) Suppress installation of destination routes. This option and the access-internal option are mutually exclusive; however, the access-internal option also suppresses destination routes.

Required Privilege Level

system—To view this statement in the configuration.

system-control—To add this statement to the configuration.
