Syntax

Hierarchy Level

Description

Apply an IPv4 precedence rewrite rule.

Options

rewrite-name

Name of a rewrite-rules mapping configured at the [edit class-of-service rewrite-rules inet-precedence] hierarchy level.

default

protocol inet-both

Rewrite the inet-precedence CoS value to both the inner and outer header for Unicast/Multicast IPv4 traffic. The first three bits of the CoS value are rewritten and the final six bits are taken from the incoming CoS value.

protocol inet-outer

Rewrite the inet-precedence CoS value to the outer header for Unicast/Multicast IPv4 traffic. The first three bits of the CoS value are rewritten and the final six bits are taken from the incoming CoS value.

protocol mpls

(Optional for ingress MPLS tunnel nodes) Rewrite the MPLS EXP bits in the MPLS header independently of the IPv4 DSCP value for IPv4 packets entering an MPLS tunnel.
