Description

Configure the log stream filter to transmit only threat and attack logs to the ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM). The integrated ClearPass authentication and enforcement feature sends to the CPPM threat and attack logs detected by the SRX Series Firewall security modules. You can use these reports to inform your approach to hardening the CPPM security policy. Setting the log stream filter to threat-attack ensures that the SRX Series Firewall and the log server are not overburdened by irrelevant logs.

Note:

Unlike for other features that use a filter for log streams, threat-attack is the only log stream filter supported for integrated ClearPass. Therefore, it is not shown here as an option.
