microloop-avoidance

Syntax

Hierarchy Level

Description

Configure microloop avoidance mechanisms that temporarily install a post-convergence path for routes potentially affected by microloops. The temporary path is used for the specified delay time period and reverts to the node SIDs of the destination after the delay timer expires.

Note:

Micro-loop avoidance is not a replacement for local repair mechanisms like TI-LFA which detects local failure very fast and activates a precomputed loop-free-alternative path.

Options

post-convergence-path delay milliseconds;

Time in milliseconds after which temporary post-convergence paths are removed.

  • Range: 500 through 60000

  • Default: 5000ms

maximum-labels (SR-MPLS)

Maximum number of labels in a microloop avoidance path. Number of labels must be less than or equal to the maximum labels configured.

Range: 2 through 8

maximum-srv6-sids (SR-MPLS)

Maximum number of SRv6 SIDs in a microloop avoidance path. Number of SIDs must be less than or equal to the maximum SRv6 SIDs configured.

Range: 2 through 12

Required Privilege Level
