Hierarchy Level

Description

Define a PFC account for a congestion notification profile (CNP).

Options

PFC priorities (set of priorities)

  • Range: 0 through 7
xoff

(Optional) Specifies account threshold for pause in microseconds of source port speed. When the XOFF threshold is reached, a PFC pause frame is generated with the pfc-priority defined here. Think of XOFF as a virtual buffer that can hold packets for the defined length of time.

  • Range: Varies by platform

  • Default:5000
xon

(Optional) Specifies account threshold for resume in microseconds of source port speed. When the congestion is mitigated and the buffer size comes under the XON threshold, a resume frame is generated and sent upstream to restart the data traffic. The minimum value for XON must be at least 50 percent of XOFF. We recommend that if you configure XOFF that you also configure XON.

  • Range: Varies by platform

  • Default:3750
