Description
On EX Series switches with support for the Enhanced Layer 2 Software (ELS) configuration style, you can disable MAC address aging per VLAN using the no-mac-aging option so MAC entries in that VLAN do not age out. This configuration reduces flooding and traffic loss in VLANs with stable endpoints and supplements the global MAC aging timer (default 300 seconds) or its adjustment. Configure no-mac-aging at the VLAN level through the CLI.
Default
MAC address aging is enabled.
