Hierarchy Level

Description

Enable Layer 2 interworking on a device.

Options

dynamic-peer-discovery

Create Layer 2 interwork peers dynamically. When you enable this feature, you do not need to configure a logical peer unit manually. Dynamic peer discovery matches the following configured settings as peers

Site Identifier—(site-identifier) is configured under the edit logical-systems logical-system-name routing-instances routing-instance-name protocols l2vpn] hierarchy
Local VPWS Service Identifier —local service identifier under the routing-instances routing-instance-name protocols evpn interface interface-name vpws-service-id hierarchy.

The system creates a logical peers by pairing the interface in the L2VPN routing instance with the interface in the VPWS routing instance.
