Syntax

Hierarchy Level

Description

Enable the global mac-ip snooping feature. On EX4000, EX4100, EX4400, EX4650, and QFX5120 switches in a non-EVPN VLAN scenario, you can learn the MAC-IP information of the host by using this command in the [edit protocols l2-learning] hierarchy. The MAC-IP information is displayed in the output of the show ethernet-switching mac-ip-table command. You can verify whether the MAC IP snooping feature is enabled by using the show vlans command. You can disable the feature for a VLAN by using the new no-mac-ip-snooping command.
