Syntax

Hierarchy Level

Description

Limit the number of entries that can be added system-wide to the MAC-IP bindings database.

Options

number

Specify the maximum number of entries that can be added system-wide to the MAC-IP bindings database. When the specified maximum is reached, no new entries are added to the database.

  • Range: 20 through a platform-specific maximum. Check the CLI help for this statement on a particular device for the maximum value you can set on that device.
