fingerprint-server-group (DHCPv4)

Syntax

Hierarchy Level

Description

Define the fingerprint server group and specify the IPv4 address of the external fingerprint server. When DHCP fingerprinting forwarding is enabled, the Junos device acting as DHCP local server or DHCP relay agent mirrors client DHCP DISCOVER and REQUEST messages to fingerprinting servers. The fingerprinting server analyses the traffic to derive device fingerprints.

Options

fingerprint-server-group name Define the fingerprint server group at the global system level.
address ipv4-address Specify the IPv4 address of the external fingerprint server.
logical-system (default | logical-system-name) Define the fingerprint server group at the logical system level.
  • default—Default context of logical system.
  • logical-system-name—Specify a logical system name.
routing-instance (default | routing-instance-name) Define the fingerprint server group at the routing-instance level.
  • default—Default context of routing instance.
  • logical-system-name—Specify a routing-instance name.
