delay-measurement (Source Packet Routing)
Syntax
delay-measurement { advertisement { accelerated { threshold percentage; } periodic { interval seconds; threshold percentage; } } probe-count seconds; probe-interval seconds; }
Hierarchy Level
[edit protocols source-packet-routing source-routing-path candidate-path-name]
Description
Enable delay measurement for the specified segment routing candidate path. The protocol initiates delay measurement for all segment-lists configured for the candidate path. Note that the candiddate path must not be delegated and at lease one configured primary or secondary path must have a configured return path.
Make sure that the return path and candidate path forward are of the same type, that is either SR-MPLS or SRv6. Only statically configured segment-lists are supported for delay-measurement. If you deactivate or delete this feature then delay measurement is stopped.
Default
Delay measurement is disabled by default.
Options
advertisement | Enable to delay advertising . |
-
accelerated: Enable accelerated advertisement of delay measurement data to SR-TE. By Default, accelerated advertisement is disabled and advertisement occurs periodically.
-
threshold: Specify a threshold percentage. Advertise measured data only if change in data is more than the specified threshold percentage from the last advertised data. We recommend that you configure this value greater than the periodic threshold values so that you are notified with new data when the change is higher. If the change is comparatively low then you are notified after the set periodic time interval.

probe-count (seconds) |
Specify the number of probes sent in a single measurement test cycle.
