Description
(EX Series and QFX Series switches only) Configure secure transfer of configuration data and foreign files using Secure Copy Protocol (SCP) during a commit or synchronization operation in a Virtual Chassis. With this configuration, the management process (mgd) uses SCP to encrypt the configuration data transferred from the primary Virtual Chassis member to the other members. You can automatically transfer the configuration data without requiring any additional passwords or prompting.
You must set this configuration statement on the primary member in the Virtual Chassis.
Before you configure this statement, you must prepare the Virtual Chassis by setting up SSH keys on all the members. See Synchronize Configuration Data Using SCP in a Virtual Chassis for the detailed configuration process.
